The Public Affairs Research Council (PAR) announced the release of its “2004 PAR Guide to the Louisiana Legislature.” The 2004 Guide is now available in an entirely new format, with underwriting support provided by Entergy Louisiana.

“We are very pleased to offer our new Legislative Guide just in time for the Regular Legislative Session which opens on March 29. We think this new guide is more convenient, comprehensive and user-friendly than past editions,” according to Jim Brandt, President of PAR. “We are particularly grateful to Entergy for their support of PAR’s most popular publication,” he added.
The 2004 edition includes pictures and biographical information on Louisiana legislators, other statewide officials, and Louisiana’s congressional delegation in Washington. It also includes up-to-date addresses, phone and fax numbers and e-mail addresses of members of the House and Senate, a list of members of legislative committees, and a directory of governmental resources.
PAR has reformatted the Legislative Guide as a pocket-size publication and will reprint the Guide in its entirety every year. In the past, the Guide has been reprinted every four years with yearly updates.
PAR members will receive a free copy of the “Guide to the Louisiana Legislature.” Others may order copies of the guide for $10.00 each by writing PAR at P.O. Box 14776, Baton Rouge, LA 70898-4776 or by calling (225) 926-8414. Special pricing is available for bulk orders. For additional information, visit PAR’s website atwww.la-par.org.
