Layla Harmon
Communications Intern

Layla Harmon joined PAR in the spring of 2024 as a Communications Intern. Layla is a senior majoring in political communication at the LSU Manship School of Mass Communication and is a Louisiana Service and Leadership Scholar at the Ogden Honors College. Layla recently completed a summer fellowship at the Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy at the University of Michigan.

She previously served as a press assistant for former Gov. John Bel Edwards’ communications team. In addition to her role at PAR, Layla works at the LSU Reilly Center for Media & Public Affairs, where she surveyed LSU students about emergency contraception knowledge and access and is developing an ongoing advocacy campaign based on survey data.
